Well, I’m in my 70's and I'm pretty much a self taught photographer who lives in Swannanoa, NC with my wife, Kit, and a couple Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named Guinness and Truffles. We moved here in 2006 upon my retiring as a Computer/Information Technology specialist from the U.S. Government.
I've pretty much have had a life long love affair with photography. From learning the basics of how to take a picture to how to make a good photograph, to producing photographic based art. It's been a life journey, which continues to this day. I like to think that my work is continuing to evolve. I find subject matter in all sorts of places. Sometimes it is a recurring pattern or perhaps a textures, or just shadows or even colors. Often it can be an interesting person. I just have a difficult time in asking if I can take their photograph. Thank goodness for a local event called FashMob where photographers, models, designers, and, hair and makeup artist meet and share.
I've recently stumbled into the world of AI. I'm using it primarily as an accessary to my other tools for generating various type of art. I've found that I can use my images as input prompts to create a variation on the input image or actually create something completely different. It is a whole new world and just another tool that I can use to create my art.
My work is solely for myself. I'm not a paid photographer, but I do my upmost to adhere to professional standards. Particularly when working with models. I always share my work with the models that I work with.
From time-to-time, I'll sell a piece of work. When I do, it'll be unique. I'll not make another just like it. I feel that if it is to be art, then it needs to be unique not mass produced. Please look around my site. I try and keep it up to date, but I often get side tracked and forget about it for a prolonged period of time. I have a tendency to post much more frequently to Face Book.
Most of my work is available for purchase. Look for the shopping cart in the upper right.

As I'm retired and take care of my wife and two dogs, I don't do regular work for hire. I will on occasion do a collaboration (TFP) local shoot. Feel free to contact me.
